Leave your prospects better than when you found them
Read time: 3 minutes

With your marketing and sales efforts, just treat your prospects like they were paying clients because...
In today's day and age, scepticism is the highest it's ever been.
If you think about any purchase decision that involves a lot of information and the process that you go through as a buyer, there are things that pop into your mind that concern you.
Such as:
“What if I have a bad experience?”
“Will this actually work and deliver results?”
“I bought something before and it was a nightmare”
You start to doubt and compare.
If you're the seller in that environment, you are just met with so much scepticism, resistance and friction to turn strangers into high-paying clients.
People hate making decisions whether it's small or large.
How to erode all of that scepticism and stand out as the number one choice for prospects?
Provide so much value to your prospects in advance.
Just think about how you can help the prospect to get to where it is that they want to do.
People will appreciate the amount of value, as you're helping them by educating them to make the right decision.
When people have a high level of certainty that's when a transaction takes place.
When they're certain that they're making the right decision.
80% value, 20% pitch.
Planting Seeds...🌱
So, in a world where everybody wants results yesterday. There is value in playing the long game. This is called Planting Seeds...🌱
There will be people who will like you and your business, have a problem of some sort and goals. They aren't quite ready to do business with you yet.
Don't focus on the instant gratification of getting that next customer.
Don't disregard prospects who said they’re not interested
Or are not a fit.
Instead, build a relationship over time.
Leave conversations with prospects on a good note, check-in now and again.
Then 6, 12 months even 2 years later...That person can then be ready to do business with you.
Instead of thinking of the short-term, people with a long-term mindset, think long into the future.
Where they’re planting those seeds today with people they can do business with in the future.
Be in the long game, as it's the most valuable thing you can do.
Think about that with prospects. How can you plant more seeds with people instead of “thank u, next”
Your future self with thank you.
Well, that’s it for now. I hope you find this useful.
Thank you if you’ve made it this far.
Speak to you next week,
